I enjoyed them very much. If my memory serves me correctly you stopped due to some keyboard warrior carry-on.
I say bugger them and start them again. If they don't like them they don't have to read them.

"If my memory serves me correctly you stopped due to some keyboard warrior carry-on."
It was not a keyboard warrior making a complaint. It was the company supplying the advertising withdrawing their advertising support whilst copyright material was being posted in those articles. If that income is stopped then I.T. Beyond Pty Ltd will go bankrupt and we will lose this site.
I suggest that if you do as you propose then you will be dealt with and you will be the loser, not the
forum

If that's the case ie ' company supplying the advertising withdrawing their advertising support whilst copyright material', then I stand corrected.
Was this known to all or just a few?
I remember attacks by keyboard warriors and Doug, having had enough, hung up his shingle.
Also, when did I stop? I'm still here.

Hi Phil, I have no memory of "keyboard warriors" although I do not say that there were not. However, Doug explained the circumstance in a post on this
forum and "
Sunday History Photo" ceased on 5 March 2017…...
Here is the link.

Most of us enjoyed them. Don't know why Doug has posted this but there's copyright infringement and then there's plagiarism.

Thanks Allan B for showing me that, I appreciate it and stand corrected on the copyright infringement matter.
If whoever ran their ruler across Doug's posts ran it across Facebook sites that discuss the
history of towns, pioneers etc, with many historical photos, they'd drown in the workload.

Raking over old coals but the problem was not simply one of photographic copyright infringement Phil, as was clear from the discussion in Alan's link. Arguably that was the much lesser indiscretion. Enough has been said on the matter imo. It's a mini Pandora's Box.
